Its National Zucchini Bread Day and since zucchini bread is such a nice addition to a salad supper. I thought I would share my recipe with all of you. This recipe is moist and delicious. I hope your family will enjoy it as much as my family does! Ingredients: 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 Tbsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/8 tsp cloves 1 cup oil 1 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 Tbsp vanilla extract 3 eggs 2 1/2 cups grated zucchini 1 cup chopped walnuts Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9” loaf pan or 2 smaller loaf pans. in a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and spices. In a large bowl, blend together oil, sugars, vanilla and eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture until just barely combined. Gently fold in the zucchini and walnuts, be careful to not over mix. Fill loaf pans with batter. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before serving. #nationalzucchinibreadday #housetohomebyvalerie #quickdinners #zucchinirecipes
